Business Development Council
The Team NEO Business Development Council (BDC) provides a forum through which Northeast Ohio business and economic development partners work together to increase the competitiveness of the region by enhancing job creation efforts, driving more equitable outcomes, and improving the health and prosperity of the regional economy.
The BDC, comprised of senior economic development leaders and regional business leaders, drives Team NEO and Northeast Ohio partners toward a strategic and collaborative approach to business development. The BDC aligns regional resources in support of Northeast Ohio’s most promising companies and businesses considering Northeast Ohio for growth or expansion. Team NEO convenes Northeast Ohio business development partners to develop and implement proactive strategies to advance regional issues and initiatives around talent acquisition, supply chain resilience and diversification, re-shoring, DEI, and faster smart technology adoption.
RightSites Council
The Team NEO RightSites Council (RSC) provides a forum through which economic development professionals work together to enhance Northeast Ohio’s economic competitiveness in the site selection process. The RSC maintains a pipeline of around 40 competitive sites vetted to mitigate risk for site selectors with high speed to market and low life cycle cost.
The RSC consists of leaders in construction, real estate, finance, legal, architecture and utilities. Perspectives from each of these fields inform strategies to better serve the site needs of growing companies and maintain an accurate understanding of Northeast Ohio’s site inventory.
Through its efforts, the Team NEO RightSites Council is accelerating business attraction, growing jobs and connecting underserved communities with quality job opportunities.
Talent Development Council
The Team NEO Talent Development Council (TDC) provides a forum through which higher education institutions, companies and workforce organizations advance initiatives related to Northeast Ohio’s talent development. Team NEO convenes these parties to develop holistic, regional talent development solutions.
Talent Development Council members convene to evaluate the talent pipeline, policy initiatives, pilot programs, regional performance and participation.
Through its efforts, the Team NEO Talent Development Council is growing jobs, nurturing and developing talent across the region, and making sure access to opportunities is equitable.
