Lorad LLC, a privately-owned business operating as Diversified Fall Protection, is a global leading provider of OSHA and ANSI compliant safety solutions, has announced plans to grow in the Northeast Ohio Region. The company, specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of engineered fall protection systems, plans to add 50 new positions in Westlake while retaining 68 current employees. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today.
Diversified Fall Protection Chief Financial Officer Andy Montero commented on the company’s confidence in the region’s exceptional resources and talent pool, “The Greater Cleveland area provides access to a skilled manufacturing workforce with deep industrial expertise, particularly in steel fabrication and metal working.”

An economic development team, including ODOD, JobsOhio, Team NEO, and the City of Westlake collaborated to ensure Lorad LLC chose the Northeast Ohio for its expansion over other states where it operates.
