Tom Richards LLC, doing business as Process Technology, has announced plans to relocate its power supplies business from Amery, Wisconsin to Mayfield Village, Ohio. The company designs and manufactures world-class thermal heating and power supply products for mission-critical applications in semiconductor, high purity, surface finishing, medical, and solar industries. The project is supported with a $200,000 JobsOhio Workforce Grant that will assist in training the 66 new jobs being created. The project is also pending local incentives.
Based in Willoughby, the woman-owned company confirms its commitment to operation excellence by establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near its global headquarters and new product development center to complement the current production location in Mentor.
“We are thrilled to be relocating our power supplies business to Mayfield Village, Ohio. This move not only strengthens our ability to deliver our products to critical industries and represents our continued commitment to job creation in Northeast Ohio,” stated Jody Richards, CEO of Process Technology. “With the support of the JobsOhio Workforce Grant, we are excited to bring 66 new skilled jobs to the region, contributing to the growth and innovation that drives Northeast Ohio forward. By expanding our operations closer to our leadership and product development teams, we are reinforcing our dedication to operational excellence and sustainable growth in the industries we serve.”
A team from Mayfield Village, JobsOhio, and Team NEO worked together to help secure the company’s expansion in Northeast Ohio.
“We have been engaged with Process Technology for months and are excited that they have chosen Mayfield Village for their power supply manufacturing operation, breathing new life into a key property that had been largely inactive since COVID,” stated Mayor Brenda Bodnar, Mayfield Village. “Process Technology represents exactly the type of high-tech employer the Village strives to attract and nurture, and they will surely fit right in with their new neighbors such as Preformed Line Products, Quality Electrodynamics, Mayfran International and Canon Healthcare.”
